Sometimes all you need is the hot desert, ice-cold swimming pools, warm summer nights and girl talk. Suzanne, Jaime, Lindsey and I spent the weekend in Palm Springs for a summer getaway. We stayed in the heart of downtown at the Spa Resort Casino, lounging by the pool, sipping cocktails, catching up on girl talk. It felt like we were a million miles away from LA, but it only took a short drive.
