Silver Lake Jubilee
I went to the Silver Lake Jubilee last night and just realized I didn’t take any wide shots! It’s a festival of about 50 booths just off Sunset Blvd. under the Sunset bridge, near Sunset Junction. Hipsters abound at this happy little festival of live music, food trucks, beer gardens, vintage and trinket shopping. It continues today and through the night! (Sunday, May 22nd)
Handcuffs and guns seem delicate and charming the smaller they get.
Perfect for the ceiling and walls of a college dorm.
This little booth had fun hair clips.
I bought one like this for $9!
Of COURSE I got my grub on. Hello India Jones food truck.
I highly recommend the butter chicken ($8.50) which was big enough to share. We didn’t know that and had ordered the vegetable/coconut curry too, which we didn’t regret. We just stuffed ourselves! A side of naan and pair of samosas? Delicioso.
I’d love to peruse these racks during the daytime.
Vintage fan? There were tons of great booths. Go!
