Ta da! Ok, let’s take you back, because getting ready is half the fun.
I laid out my accessories the night before. The earrings are green onyx with diamond and gold tulip earrings. The rings are stackable topaz and citrine, all from Shamila, who is also on twitter. Padma Lakshmi complimented me on them! I can die happy.
Gorgeous Paul Perez from Sally Hershberger not only stirs my True Blood fantasies of Jesus on the show, he does incredible updos and cuts.
He put in a soft braid that threaded into the curls. Simba approves.

The dress was loose enough I could eat what I wanted. All the girls in the gorgeous fishtail and tight beaded gowns told me they couldn’t eat. Thank goodness for champagne!
I always apply my lipstick in the car, which was berry lipliner and Tarte lip stain. My current obsession!

After three hours in the direct sunlight, producer Kerry and I celebrated a successful carpet!
