The Hungry Cat

Fullscreen:

The courtyard of the Sunset & Vine building has been a revolving door of sorts. There was once a tea place that’s now a sub shop. Cafe Was, well was fun while it lasted and now there’s a new place called Wolfslair that looks like a rough and tumble bier garden, biker’s version of Cirque du Soleil. The constant of this little center has been The Hungry Cat. Another one opened recently in Santa Monica as well. It’s helmed by Suzanne Goin, who I love naturally, not just for the name. She also owns Lucques, a delicious dinner spot on Melrose.

I went in for a quick snack, so I didn’t get to taste what I hear is incredible seafood. I enjoyed a cocktail and chocolate bread pudding. This kitten was purring.
